Performance Improvement - Injury Prevention and Recovery

Susanne came to do dorning and cold laser on my horse for the first time. I've been having trouble with my left knee so I decided to have her do dorning on me and do cold laser on my knee. After one session, I went from almost not being able to walk to just about pain free in 2 days! I can't believe the results. I can't wait to see the results on my horse! Michelle Wilson

AlaDDIN - 6 month lame without cure in sight

Picture
Aladdin, an approx. 9 years old PercheronXCanadian, went lame last October, after a really bad trim. The trimmer changed everything about the way he was carrying himself which seemed to have messed up his lower back. After turning him out for 5 month and hoping he would outgrow the lameness, he was still lame as ever. Having a new farrier and a proper trim surely helped to his recovery, what  really changed Aladdin's performance was, I put him on Chinese Herbs and started giving him Acupressure and Shiatsu. After 3 (!) weeks we brought him back under saddle and he is now doing lessons again. Acupressure and Shiatsu for sure saved his life. Susanne Huber

Neriah, blind horse going in circles all day long when turned out

Hi Susanne
We have observed changes, including last night!
Neriah seems less “restless” than before, with a softer eye. Jane noticed last night that Neriah seemed more relaxed.
This morning she did not start her circling as quickly as usual and it was easier to stop her. During the day she continued to be quiet, relaxed, softer eye, and less “aggressive”.
This was far more than I expected, especially so quickly. I am aware that she may get worse before improving, but so far this is very encouraging!
I will let you know of further changes!
Cheers, Patricia

I first talked to Susanne about her acupressure system in June of this year(2013) I have two horses, one retired and elderly, and the other my 14 year old riding horse. The old horse has a lot of stiffness and arthritis, and although she is ridden occasionally, I had wondered if there was more I could do to improve  her well being. The 14 yr old is a healthy QH whom I ride every day. His issues are small but significant. He is not comfortable being saddled, although his attitude improves when we start out. He is also tight on the right side and is not able to flex that way nearly as well as to the left. Both horses see a chiropractor monthly and structurally they are cared for. There are small adjustments needed at each visit.
After talking to Susanne I decided to try her methods. These deal with muscular problems and the meridian pathways through the body. A blockage somewhere in the system can cause issues  anywhere else in the system.
After approximately 6 weeks of treatments, there is a big difference in both horses. The old mare is much more comfortable, and I follow Susanne’s recommendation for follow up  hands on appropriate massaging of affected areas.  The QH has made big changes. I use the massage techniques she recommended as follow up to her program. He no longer is concerned about the saddling process, he is beginning to flex more easily to the right, and after the last chiropractor’s visit he has fewer issues that formerly were chronic. I highly recommend her acupressure program. -Kathy Minor
