Photonic Light Therapy is based on scientific research by NASA:
There is a rapidly growing body of solid scientific research documenting the effectiveness of near infrared light therapy. NASA published a study on Navy Seals in the Journal of Clinical Laser Medicine and Surgery in November of 2001 showing that this frequency of light penetrates 2.5 centimeters into the body’s tissues, and that it not only relieves pain but also accelerates the healing process by 50% or more.
Have you just had a surgery and would like to speed up healing?
Or do you have any scars that bother you, either functionally or visually?
See an example in the pictures above. That thumb had only a few application of the photonic light and the scar is hardly visible now. Works for many more different applications/issues. I have had great success for severe whiplash, broken shoulder/frozen shoulder etc.
How is LED Red Light Therapy different from Laser Therapy?
The laser emitted beams of light are very dense and concentrated and highly focused which are designed to target small areas at a time. It works by heating the underlying tissue enough to cause enough inflammation to kick the skin into survival mode to heal itself with new and younger liiking skin. Some "zap" blood vessels so we no longer see them fot the moment.Laser therapy often requires some sort of anesthesia and result in enough inflammation that a significant recovery period or downtime is required. If done improperly it can cause injury and scarring to the skin. Post0treatment orders have to be well followed or infection can occur.
LED therapy poses NONE of these risks as LED light is far from being as dense or concentraded as laser. It targets a much wider area than a laser and while it does penetrate into the tissue it DOES NOT HEAT OR INFLAME SUCH.
Just like Laser, LED requires several treatments to see long lasting results. However, unlike lasers, LED can be safely administered in low concentrations as often as daily; and does not require a medical environment or a doctor's supervision.
Why having it done by a professional and not just do it yourself? There are a lot of gimmicks out there and LED is a very big trend right now, you want to be careful that a quality product is used and really does what's promised. That is why I use medical grade LED Red Light. Furthermore, I use it on acupressure points as well as injury site and that requires a great knowledge of acupressure as well as TCM to be successful.
Contact me to make your appointment to discuss your case either here, by email [email protected] or call 613 331 1868. Serving the areas from Kingston to Ottawa, Arnprior to Brockville or you come to me.
